Featuring presenters from the American Indian Policy Institute (AIPI) at Arizona State University, this interactive workshop introduces Tribal education leaders and staff to foundational concepts in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Through culturally grounded examples and practical exercises, participants will learn how to think about AI as a tool—one that can assist with brainstorming, policy analysis, and strategic planning. The session connects ASU’s Charter commitment to inclusion and community impact with Tribal sovereignty and self-determination in technology adoption. Participants will leave with practical skills for working safely and effectively with AI tools in ways that honor Tribal values, knowledge systems, and governance.
