2026 AI + College & Career Readiness Training

TEDNA, in collaboration with the Oklahoma State Department of Education Office of American Indian Education and AISES, invites school and Tribal education staff to an engaging two-day training at the Sam Noble Museum in Norman, Oklahoma! The event will take place on June 2-3, 2026.

Who Should Attend?
This event is designed for JOM, Title VI, Indian Education staff, Tribal Education Departments/Agencies, and Tribal leaders who are committed to improving outcomes for Native students across Oklahoma.

What’s It About?
This is your chance to join a statewide network of educators and Tribal leaders working to strengthen Native student programs, honor cultural knowledge, and lead in innovative education practices! The convening provides practical, hands-on sessions that integrate two complementary initiatives:

Artificial Intelligence – Learn how emerging technologies can enhance teaching and learning in culturally relevant ways.

College & Career Readiness – Gain strategies to support youth engagement and success through Tribal, state, and school collaboration.

Keynote from Khan Academy – Hear from a nationally recognized nonprofit leader in education, renowned for supporting teachers and students.

Engaging breakout sessions – Take home practical tools and strategies to enhance Native student programs in your school or Tribe.

Meals provided – Included with registration cost, enjoy breakfast and lunch each day while connecting with colleagues.

Certificate of attendance – Participants who attend both days will receive a Certificate of Attendance via email within 14 days of the conclusion of the event.

Pricing, Scholarships & Payment
Individual ticket – $150
Second ticket – $125
Additional tickets – $100 each

Tickets can be paid via check or purchase order, by either mailing payment in advance or bringing payment to check-in on the first day of the event. Information on who to make checks out to and where to mail can be found on the registration form and in the confirmation email sent after registration.

Scholarships are also available for attendees with limited budgets. If your group does not have funding available but would still like to attend, select the “Scholarship” option on the registration form and TEDNA will contact you soon to confirm whether your scholarship request is approved. Please only select this option if your funding is truly limited in order to reserve the fund for those who need it.

This event does not offer virtual attendance.
